I am assessing students with the Wrap test again and I am pleasantly surprised at the reading progress the children have made since early September. Keep them reading at home.
Also, I am hearing that some of you are using Aleks. Good!

Special Topics We’re Studying

Reading – Oral language and comprehension, verb endings, s, ed and ing, capitalization, short and long vowel sounds, possessives, double final consonants, making predictions and reading for fluency

Math – Story problems, plus, minus and equal signs, introduction to subtraction and strategies for subtraction
