Reading – Vocabulary skills and expanding vocabulary, using a newspaper, comprehension skills, structural analysis of words, vowel sounds, summarizing , and writing a paragraph
Math – Solving subtraction and addition problems using different strategies, review of time, fractions and money
Science /Social Studies- Completing a chart about money, using a picture graph and discussion of rules and laws
Handwriting – Letter formation and handwriting practice

Reminders:
Reading Log is due on Friday. Children must read a minimum of two books per week. Some children are forgetting reading logs.
