Weekly topics we are studying
Reading – How to read a play, words ending in ed and ing, writing skills, grammar skills, comprehension, vocabulary, definitions and Reader’s Theatre (presenting plays to the class)
Math – Fractions, story problems, time, money, addition and subtraction and working with odd and even numbers
Science /Social Studies- Making money and magnets
Handwriting – Letter formation and handwriting practice
Religion –Eucharist preparation and
We pray like Jesus
Spelling – Priority words, cloze test, contractions, dictation and word test
English – Mechanics of writing
Mass - Wednesday - 8:30
Ice Cream – Friday $.50
Monday – Math
Tuesday – Phonics
Wednesday –Spelling
Thursday- Reading Log and study for spelling test

Faith White (She didn’t get her turn last week.)
Reading Log is due on Friday. Children must read a minimum of two books per week, (each book must be ten or more pages).
Library books are always due on Monday or Tuesday if there is a holiday.
