Weekly topics we are studying
Reading – Reading comprehension, sequencing, vocabulary, summarizing, confirming predictions, clarifying, writing an acrostic poem and reading for fluency
Math – Fractions, story problems, time, money, pictographs, addition and subtraction
Science /Social Studies- Making money
Handwriting – Letter formation and handwriting practice
Religion –Eucharist preparation and Carrying on the work of Jesus
Spelling – Priority words, cloze test, punctuation and capitalization, dictation and word test
English – Verb tenses and subject/verb agreement
Mass - Wednesday - 8:30
Ice Cream – Friday $.50
Living History Museum – Tuesday 9:30 to 10:30 and 11:45 to 12:30
Mass- Friday – 8:30
Monday – Math
Tuesday – Phonics
Wednesday –Spelling
Thursday- Reading Log and study for spelling test

Reading Log is due on Friday. Children must read a minimum of two books per week, (each book must be ten or more pages).
Library books are always due on Monday or Tuesday if there is a holiday.
